Paused the physical meetings, not the prayer, fasting, and seeking
We have temporarily suspended all weekly gatherings on our premises, as well as all cell group meetings in homes and all seminars, until further notice. However, already scheduled wedding services shall proceed as planned.
The Ministry of Health wished to inform all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), Local Governments, Cultural and Religious Institutions, Development Partners, Civil Society Organizations, private sector critics, event organizers, and the general public that, following the ongoing Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) outbreak and the heightened risk of transmission associated with population movement and mass gatherings, additional public health measures had been instituted to strengthen outbreak prevention and control efforts.
